Starkindler solidifies Naeramarth's dedication to and reverence for the pioneers of 70s Prog as well as the lineage and continued evolution of Extreme Metal. Guided by the light of Varda and the works of JRR Tolkien, Starkindler melds influences from Progressive Black Metal, Melodic Death Metal, and Melodic Death-Doom with a Progressive and Symphonic palette throughout. Adherents of Neoclassical Dark Wave (Dead Can Dance, Arcana) will also appreciate an interlude featuring recorded frame drum and percussion instruments. A tiro nin, Fanuilos!
Starkindler was recorded and mixed in 2023 by Naeramarth's architect, Gage Love at Cosmic Filth Productions and mastered by the legendary Dan Swanö at Unisound.
